Our mission statement emphasizes that “Temple Beth Am embraces Jewish life through lifelong learning, spiritual growth and community engagement.” To adhere to our mission, we must be committed to our success every single day; this is the Temple Beth Am way. For the last 63 years, we have not just maintained our standing in South Dade, we have continued to renovate, grow, and lead. Today, Temple Beth Am is the largest reform synagogue in Florida and in the top 25 nationally. As a community and national leader, Temple Beth Am is committed to meeting our challenges, for today and tomorrow. We lead because we are never content with our present achievements. We consistently strategize on ways to improve. As the South Florida Jewish Community is in transition, we must not only stay ahead of the curve, but see beyond it.

Our day school, religious school and youth programs have experienced phenomenal growth, and have created a waiting list for many children on different grade levels. In order to fulfill our responsibility to the greater Jewish community for today and tomorrow’s generations; we need to provide an even greater path for more students who wish to attend and succeed. For decades, Temple Beth Am has offered the finest education in both our day school and religious school. With the completion of this project, our incredible faculty and staff will have the finest tools available with which to provide state of-the art education to our children.

Since Fall 2018, we have raised over $51.9 million dollars, from 443 donor families. We had a challenge grant from an anonymous donor. When we reached our goal of $40 million raised, they pledged an additional $5 million, reaching our current milestone of over $45 million raised. Our goal of $55 million dollars is attainable if we have an entire community effort! That’s why it is up to each one of us to support this campaign, so we can continue to be recognized as the leading educational, recreational and spiritual voice in South Florida.
